We run a very dynamic Photography course and we will teach you a great deal of skills whilst encouraging you to be as imaginative as possible. Studying A level Photography gives you the opportunity of expressing your ideas using a variety of media. Students will learn how to use and manipulate light which is the most important element in photography.
When studying Photography, we will:
- Teach you how to use several cameras, from the basic manual SLR to modern digital versions
- Show you a variety of techniques in staging, creating and manipulating your photographs to communicate your ideas and observations in a more professional way.

Your GCSE experiences in Art/Photography will be useful when you are considering colour balance, composition, working from different viewpoints and using software (brushes, cloning, selection, processing) and hardware (scanners, cameras, printers, etc.)
