Rachel Price was formerly a pupil at Turves Green Girls School and Technology College and studied Chemistry, Biology and Sport. She went on to study Zoology at the University of Derby.

You will need a minimum of 5 GCSE passes to include 2 grade Bs and 3 grade Cs. English and Mathematics should both be grade C or better.

Be aware that certain careers require certain subjects.

It is usual for a student to start four or five subjects at AS and to continue with three or four subjects in the second year.

Many of our most able students start with five AS subjects in their first year and continue with four during the A2 second year.
