Cadbury College's Learning Resource Centre

  • The Learning Resource Centre opened in September 2010 as a new and exciting development for Cadbury Sixth Form College. The existing college library was refurbished and more than doubled in size to incorporate library services, learning support and careers.
  • There are now 100 computers available for coursework, directed study, online learning, internet access, access to Moodle (our Virtual Learning Environment) and checking emails.
  • The LRC provides all its students and staff with an excellent resource base for study. There is ample study space for individuals and small groups and a stock of over 25,000 learning resources.

  • The LRC offers comprehensive stock coverage for all courses (books, eresources, magazines, journals, newspapers, DVDs and CDs) and subscribes to many online resources including New Scientist, Issues, English and Media Magazines and Encyclopaedia Britannica.
  • There is a range of in house materials developed specifically to support advanced courses. Photocopying and audio visual facilities, including a viewing room with Smartboard, are also available to all LRC users.
