The College Facilities
The College is situated in a pleasant campus with good recreational facilities and plenty of open space for sport and relaxation. The buildings are compact and well maintained and the facilities within provide an adult purposeful environment ideally suited to teaching and learning at this level. The atmosphere resembles a university rather than a school.
In recent years the college has invested over eight million pounds in considerable improvements and new buildings. The most recent is a purpose built theatre and performing arts area which includes a 200 seat theatre as well as practice rooms and teaching rooms. The library has been enlarged to create a state-of-the-art Learning Resource Centre and the canteen has also been extended and updated to create an adult atmosphere suitable for the 21st century.
We also have a purpose built Art and Textiles block incorporating three large studios, a print room and a darkroom. The Design area has also been extensively refurbished and enlarged with state of the art equipment and machinery.

Sports facilities include a large sports hall, an outdoor all weather area for tennis, football, netball and basketball as well as a fitness room. These are in addition to the playing fields and the college makes use of nearby facilities for swimming and outdoor pursuits. The college also has facilities for indoor cricket.
Science facilities have also been improved with a major refurbishment of all Chemistry, Biology and Physics laboratories while Music has recently benefited from a large extension to its facilities. This provides a recording space, new practice rooms and a rehearsal space.
