Ex-Cadbury Student inspires budding Birmingham actors

Lauren Crace joined Cadbury Sixth Form College in 2003 to study a GCSE in Drama and Theatre Studies.  She then followed on in 2004 to study Art, Drama and Theatre Studies and Media Studies at A-Level, after which she became a proud member of Stage2 for five years before moving to London to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.  She recently returned to Stage2 to have a chat with the current students there - she inspired them to continue with their hard work to achieve their ultimate career goals!

Lauren has starred in hit TV series and Theatre productions.  Since 2013, she has played parts in "Theatre Uncut", "Khandan" and more recently in 2015, "Foundry Showcase" at Birmingham's Repertory Theatre.  From 2008-2009, Lauren played the famous Danielle Jones in 76 episodes of the popular UK soap opera, Eastenders!  She also appeared in Sherlock in 2010, Holby City in 2011, Shameless in 2012 and more recently as Doris Millar in Mr Selfridge between 2013 and 2015.

Lauren has achieved such a lot in just a few years, proving that a lot of hard-work, dedication and passion for a subject can get you to your goal.

Lauren is a credit to Cadbury College - a big well done from us!
