The Cadbury College Debating Society headed to Aston University in November to take part in a qualifying round of Debating Matters, a national debating competition.

The team debated motions including “Megacities are bad for the developing world” and acquitted themselves really well but were just pipped at the post to win a place in the next round.

Congratulations to Cadbury College student Luke Heppenstall West who was awarded the ‘best individual question’ prize.

The Cadbury College Debating Society hosts weekly debates in college and all students are welcome to attend.
