Cadbury College will be inviting Year 11 pupils to gain an insight into its A Level courses at a series of taster events held during March. Specialist teachers will enable school leavers to discover more about the courses on offer at the specialist sixth form college, based in Kings Norton.

Year 11 pupils can try a wide range of activities to see what life is like as a Cadbury College student. From learning about the design world to exploring English literature, there is a lot on offer.

Budding mathematicians can take on numerical conundrums in an advanced maths taster session, whilst more creative individuals can try experimental drawing, upcycling a garment or performing arts. Young scientists will be able to extract DNA and there is also study skills session which will explain A Level study, including revision advice for GCSE examinations. Other A Level subject taster sessions events being held during March include Modern History, Sociology and English Language.

Andy Cookson, Assistant Principal Learner Experience, said: “The Insight Taster Events are designed to give Year 11 pupils the opportunity to find out more about the courses they are interested in studying at Cadbury College. The activities will give you a real taste of a subject which will help you decide whether it’s the right course for you."

The Insight Taster Events are taking place at the college campus in Downland Close, Kings Norton, Birmingham.
