Celebrating Success

Hannah - Sort & Exercise

Massive congratulations go to first year Sport & Exercise Science student Hannah
who has recently been selected for Worcestershire’s Senior Women’s Cricket squad.
The former Bournville School student’s next aim is the full England squad!

We’re really proud of our LGBT society students who will be heading to London to pick up
their PYN Award at The Pride Youth Network Conference in July. The students involved
have been working hard throughout the year to raise awareness and educate staff &
students about creating a more inclusive college environment.

Julie Swinsco - Face 2 Face Art Exhibition

It’s not just our students who are making the news. Our Art & Photography Lecturer, Julie
Swinsco recently had her work displayed at The Royal Victoria Works as part of their Face
to Face exhibition. If you’re interested in Art, Photography or any other creative subject
please come along to our Creative Arts Show on Wednesday 19th June, where we will be
showcasing the amazing work being produced at the college.

Khalid Daley

We were delighted to hear from former students Khalid & Shannon who got in contact to
share their recent success. Former Performing Arts student Khalid Daley is currently part
of the International & UK tour of War Horse, while former Geography student Shannon
Harewood– Malone was invited to present her research on glacial retreat in Iceland to MPs
& researchers at the Houses of Parliament.
