As you are aware, Cadbury Sixth Form College is proposing to merge with Sandwell College on 1st November 2018.
As part of this process, the Governors of Cadbury Sixth Form College undertook a public consultation on its proposals between 4th June 2018 and 9th July 2018. The results of this consultation and the Governors’ response is contained in the attached document.

We currently have two exciting opportunities to join our Specialist Tutor team, a full time position and a part time 0.5fte position. Our Specialist Tutors work with groups of students within the tutorial setting and on a one-one basis, ensuring that the pastoral curriculum is delivered effectively, and providing opportunities for students to stay on course, meet or exceed their targets and reach their full potential. This is a 1 year Fixed Term Contract until 30th August 2019.
This role is working term time only plus one week (40 weeks). The additional week to be worked during the last week of the summer break, for AS, A2 and BTEC enrolments etc.
The school Careers Plan is based on the DfE document “Careers Strategy: making the most of everyone’s skills and talents” dated December 2017.Careers education does not just mean informing students about their options after school but also how their school career will affect their futures. It is our statutory duty to ensure that all pupils receive independent, impartial advice and guidance regarding all options within school and how they will affect their options after school and which careers pathways will become available to them.
Cadbury Sixth Form College wishes to appoint a Learning Support Coordinator to provide learning and mentoring support to students with special educational needs and those with educational health care plans. The college supports a universal design for learning and the appointee will be required to work as part of a team, that assimilates this knowledge, to help support the work that takes place in the classroom. This is a Term Time Only, Permanent Position.
Successful candidate will be placed on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Pay Spine for Support Staff Grade 6 - point 29 (full time equivalent - £23,170) to point 32 (full time equivalent - £25,445), depending on experience, pro rota to worked hours
If you are looking to enrol at Cadbury College this September, you will be pleased to know that enrolment now starts on GCSE Results Day from 12:00 noon. You will need to allow aproximately two hours for the whole process, though it’s usually much quicker than this!
Cadbury Sixth Form College wishes to appoint a Part Time, Temporary Teacher of Arts & Textiles on a part time 0.6fte to commence as soon as possible. This is a temporary appointment for maternity cover which is initially expected to continue until May 2019, however this date may change depending on the return date of our member of staff.
Successful candidates will be placed on the appropriate point of the Sixth Form Colleges’ Pay Spine for teaching staff range from £23,396 to £38,748 for full time, pro rota for 0.6fte, according to qualifications and experience.

A Level & Level 3 Results
Summer 2018 exam results will be able to download via Student Columbus (this is the same place where you access your lesson timetable) on Thursday 16 August 2018 from 6am. You can also collect printed exam result statements at the College from 9.00am. College will be open 9am – 3:30pm if you need any help or guidance or to use the computers.
GCSE & Level 2 Results
The results for GCSEs and other Level 2 courses will be available on Thursday 23 August 2018 from 6am via Student Columbus.
