Cadbury Signs New Partnership with Blues Academy

Cadbury Sixth Form College is delighted to announce a new partnership with Birmingham City Football Academy, one which embodies the ethos of pursuing success and embracing excellence.

Cadbury students will have the opportunity of first-hand experience in the Blues Academy, through work placement opportunities, bespoke coaching sessions and future career advice as the association progresses from strength to strength.

This new signed agreement showcases a new relationship between the College and the Academy, enhancing employment and career prospects of young people.

Blues' renowned Academy will also benefit from the use of the College's indoor sports facility thanks to the new collaboration.

Julia Stevens, Campus Principal, added: “We are delighted to be an Academy Partner with our shared values of raising aspirations and opportunities in the local community. This new partnership will provide unique experiences for our students and, in particular, enhanced employability, work experience and career prospects for learners.”

Academy Director at Birmingham City Football Club, Paul Williams, said: "We are proud to be able to formalise a partnership between the Academy and Cadbury Sixth Form College to further enhance our players' experience and that of young people within the local area. This partnership will allow our players a varied, authentic and well-rounded football experience through the use of Cadbury Sixth Form College’s facilities and, hopefully, provide Cadbury’s students experiences, placements and opportunities to enhance their employability and future prospects.”
