Learning Beyond the Classroom

Harry Potter Studios

Lucky students studying an array of A-Levels have benefitted from the opportunity to bring their courses to life this term through exciting trips & visits. Geography students studied coastal management in Bournemouth. History & Politics students watched the ‘Brexit’ debate live in The House of Commons back in January. Law & Criminology also visited Parliament to take part in interactive workshops. Product Design students looked at set design behind the scenes at the Harry Potter Studios, while Photography students visited The International Format Photography Festival in Derby. A special mention also goes to our Duke of Edinburgh Gold & Silver students who tackled some difficult conditions over the Easter break to complete their respective awards – well done all & to the staff who were there to support them.

There’s so much more to life at Cadbury Sixth Form College than what goes on in the classroom. We offer an extensive range of enrichment courses, clubs and societies which celebrate the rich diversity of our student body. As well as this we strongly value the importance of student voice in shaping what and how we do things. You’ll be able to sign up to enrichment courses at our Freshers’ Fayre during your College induction. Destinations of our class of 2019 are on display in Student Central.
