Key worker Ellie on NHS frontline

Former Health & Social Care student Ellie is now working for the ambulance service

Big shout out to Ellie Moldrik who is on the frontline for West Midlands Ambulance Service!

Ellie, who studied Health and Social Care, Performing Arts and Music at Cadbury Sixth Form College, works for the Non Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS).

Ellie says: “I play a key role in getting patients who are eligible and need additional medical support on their journey to their hospital appointments, and I also do hospital transfers and take people home from hospital when they are discharged. Some patients may need to be carried up and down stairs, some may be in a wheelchair and others may need a stretcher so it all varies.”
