Application Process

We are now accepting applications for September 2018. Here is a step-by-step guide to the application process:

Visit Website

By visiting the Cadbury College website you can begin the application process and discover everything there is to know about the college and its affiliates. Take time to look around and learn all there is to know about what the college can offer its students.

Choose a Course

Before you apply to join us it is very important that you take a look at the courses the college has to offer and decide which courses will help you achieve your career goals best. Those looking to go onto University will also need to pay particular attention into UCAS to discover the combination of courses needed to get to the where they want to go.

Apply Online

Applying online is a very simple process that simply requires to register for an account and complete a simple registration form as accurately as possible as this will ensure your application is processed as quickly as possible. All details entered are completely confidential and are only viewed by authorised members of staff.

Receive Letter

Correspondence from the college will be sent out immediately to let the candidate know that their application has been received. This indicates that the application is being looked over by the admissions team at the college to check if the student will be suitable for the courses applied for. If initially successful at this stage, a letter will be sent confirming an interview time and date. This should not be taken as a sign of a conditional offer.

You will be invited for your college interview. This is a student’s opportunity to impress and convince the interviewer of their capability to achieve success at the college. A range of questions will be asked to determine the character of the student and whether or not they will be a good fit for the college and if we are right for them.

Interviews are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis, so please do not worry if there is a delay in arranging your interview. Missed interviews will be re-arranged providing you get in touch with Admissions to explain your absence.

Please remember to bring along with you a copy of your latest school report and details of your predicted grades.

Upon a successful interview, a conditional offer will be made to the candidate to study at Cadbury College. We will write to you over the summer with details about enrolment, which will take place in late August/early September after GCSE Results Day. It is important that you attend on the date and time you have been given and bring evidence of all GCSE/Level 2 results, including those qualifications you have taken early.

Constant contact will be made between the interview stage and enrolment as to reassure students that we have not forgotten about them. The summer fair which is held in July, is one example of such contact. This is meant to help students meet others that will be on their course before term begins and let them touch base with what they will be studying for the coming year.
